The Volvo Truck assembly warehouse was completed as a design-build, fast track project in conjunction with Wiley & Wilson. Lockwood Greene was the construction manager for Volvo Trucks. The project, located at Volvo Trucks Dublin, Virginia manufacturing facility, is a 250,000 square foot structural steel building with a metal siding, 5-foot high precast or cast-in-place abuse wall, and overhead doors. The warehouse has two levels connected by a 200 foot long concrete ramp. The lower level contains 19 loading docks; each with overhead doors and the upper level containing 7 loading docks.
