Tecton Products is a manufacturer of fiberglass products for the construction industry. This 73,500 square foot building was completed as a design-build, fast-track project with AECOM (formerly known as HSMM) providing architectural and engineering and is located in the Roanoke County Center for Research and Technology. The building shell was constructed using precast concrete panels. In addition to the shell building, construction included resin storage and hazardous environment mixing rooms. Fixed equipment included installation of a bridge crane for material handling. The building is located on a 20 acre site which will allow for future expansion.
