Knowledge Works I & II are located in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (CRC).  The buildings were designed as commercial office buildings for multiple tenants associated with the CRC’s business incubator. The buildings share a common lobby.  Both buildings were designed to be heated and cooled with a geo-thermal heat recovery system using both deep wells and a heat exchange loop in the adjoining lake.
